Gage, wearing blue jeans and a blue/white button down shirt, and Tina Sweet, wearing a leopard print blouse and leather-look skirt, are confronted by a gunman, in this retake on the movie, the "Night Has Eyes." They are given a choice--be shot now or try to cross the marsh. They take their chances in the marsh--and Gage is the first to step into the deep mud. He sinks to his waist, struggling in the thick mud, while Tina watches, worried. When she tries to help him, she's pulled into the mire two. Now both struggle in the clutches of the quicksand. Gage sinks faster and is the first to go under, as Tina watches in horror. After this, she tries to pull herself free, trying to grab anything along the edge of the mud, but is unable to, sinking to her own doom. Two submersions--Tina's is watery, but Gage's is more muddy. There are after-the-submersion clips at the very end, showing each rising up, completely covered in the mud.
